Trump befriends Israel.

Trump is a friend of Jews.

I posted the following on FB posting, July 22, 2018:

A friend of mine from the USA took me to task for saying that Trump is a friend of the Jews. I responded as follows:

Trump is good for Israel…very good.

1. We convinced him to exit the deal with Iran. And he did. Iran is Israel’s arch-enemy. Iran calls for Israel’s destruction. Iran supports terrorist groups across our region. And close to home, Iran’s military activity in Syria has been growing.

2. Israel has warned that it will not allow Iran to establish a permanent military presence in Syria. Israel has escalated its attacks on Iranian bases in Syria. This would not happen without Trump’s support. And on our behalf, Trump has probably cleared this with Russia.

3. Trump’s decision to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem because Jerusalem has always been Israel’s capital is phenomenal. No U.S. President has had to cajones to do this. And the fallout from Muslim countries has been virtually passive.

4. We need peace with the Arabs living in Judea and Samaria. Four Arab countries back Trump’s plan for a settlement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Jordan have told Jared Kushner and Jason Greenblatt that they are willing to sideline the Palestinian Authority’s Abbas in order see it done.

And if you are a nitpicker: Israel is a Jewish country. Trump befriends Israel. Trump is a friend of Jews.

Let's not forget American support for Israel at the United Nations, all because of Trump.

Donald's father owned many apartment bldgs in Brooklyn. Apartments were filled mostly with Jews. Donald was sent to do repairs in these apartments from plumbing locks Windows doors. His father gave lots of donations to synagouges and yeshivas, as Donald does now.

PS Trump Village in Brooklyn did not accept applications from people of color. Were we the chosen people? Hardly.

  --------------------------------------------- THE MYSTERIOUS TACHASH In Parshat Terumah we read about the offerings donated for the construction of the Mishkan. One of these offerings were Tachash skins.  At 26:14 we are instructed that the roof of the Mishkan is to be made up of animal skins, red dyed ram skins and the uppermost layer is to be composed of “tachash” skins. וְעָשִׂיתָ מִכְסֶה לָאֹהֶל, עֹרֹת אֵילִם מְאָדָּמִים, וּמִכְסֵה עֹרֹת תְּחָשִׁים, מִלְמָעְלָה "And you shall make a covering for the tent of ram skins dyed red and a covering of tachash skins above”. Additionally, in the Book of Numbers at Chapter 4 we learn that Tachash skins were used to wrap sacred objects and ready them for transport. It is puzzling that the Sages and the Commentators do not know what the Tachash is.  It seems so obvious.
