I posted the following on FB posting, July 22, 2018: A friend of mine from the USA took me to task for saying that Trump is a friend of the Jews. I responded as follows: Trump is good for Israel…very good. 1. We convinced him to exit the deal with Iran. And he did. Iran is Israel’s arch-enemy. Iran calls for Israel’s destruction. Iran supports terrorist groups across our region. And close to home, Iran’s military activity in Syria has been growing. 2. Israel has warned that it will not allow Iran to establish a permanent military presence in Syria. Israel has escalated its attacks on Iranian bases in Syria. This would not happen without Trump’s support. And on our behalf, Trump has probably cleared this with Russia. 3. Trump’s decision to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem because Jerusalem has always been Israel’s capital is phenomenal. No U.S. President h...
